This unit ONLY works with the original BMW X5 F15 / X6 F16 NBT system

How to check if my original system is NBT, CCC, CIC or NBT EVO?

1. Idenditcal features of NBT: ① 6-pin LVDS port. ② a "MEDIA" button on the iDrive controller or a touch pad iDrive controller.

Note: A "CarConnectDrive" interface does not guarantee that you have the NBT system.

2. Please buy XTRONS QLB42X5CCL (for left-hand driving cars) / QLB42X5CCR (for right-hand driving cars) if your vehicle comes with CCC system.

Idenditcal features of CCC: ①. Independant slots for CD and DVD. ②. a 10-pin LVDS port.

Note: A "Car Communication Computer" interface does not guarantee that you have the CCC system.

3. Please buy XTRONS QLB42X5CIL (for left-hand driving cars) / QLB42X5CIR (for right-hand driving cars) if your vehicle comes with CIC system.

Idenditcal features of CIC: ①. a 4-pin LVDS port. ②. a "CD"buttom on the idrive controller.

Note: A "Car Information Computer" interface does not guarantee that you have the CIC system.

4. Please buy XTRONS QLB42X5EV if your vehicle comes with NBT EVO system.

Idenditcal features of NBT EVO: ①. 6-pin LVDS port. ②. "NBTevo_xxxx" and "Automatic map update" shows on version info.

Note: A "ID5" or "ID6" interface does not guarantee that you have the NBT EVO system.

Important Notes on Compatibility:

If your car comes with NO audio AUX input, you will need an adapter to assist with the installation. XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 (Not Included) are compatible.

Connect the XTRONS unit to your car's AUX input for audio functionality. Ensure AUX is enabled to enjoy the full audio experience with our head unit.
