Although we have made every effort to ensure this unit will be compatible with the listed vehicles, please check the year, dimensions and shape of the centre console of your vehicles before purchasing.
Important Notes on Compatibility:
1. If your have a BMW E38, please check whether there is HVAC Box behind the factory radio. If there is one, please refer to XTRONS PX1439BLHGS
2. Please check whether there is a frame in the centre console of your car. If so, please remove the frame before installation.
Cables You May Need:
1. Please check if your car's radio antenna port is the same as the picture and it is inside the console, you need to order an adapter cable (XTRONS ISOFZ) to finish the installation.
2. If your car's radio antenna port is the same as the picture and it is in the rear, you will need to order two extension cables (XTRONS ISOFZ and FZMF) to finish the installation.Â
3. If your car's original radio has a 4.3'' or 7'' screen with a 12 pin plug, or you have the navigation drive located in the rear of your car, you will need an extra 6m extension cable to aid the installation.(XTRONS EXL005, EXL007 are compatible.)
4. Connect the blue plug in XTRONS ISO wiring harness ONLY IF there is a blue 12-pin plug in your car's dash.
5. If there is DSP (Digital Sound Processing) button in your factory radio, or your car has a digital sound system like "Harman Kardon", you need to order an extension cable to aid for the installation. (XTRONS EXL007 is compatible).
6. For cars with Logic7 system or the factory car radio has fiber optic input WITHOUT 8 speaker wires as shown, an extra decoder will be needed to retain the factory amplifier and resolve "NO SOUND" issues. (XTRONS FOBB05 is compatible.)
